Job Title: Material Coordinator I

Job Location: Milan, IL-61264

Job Duration: 12 months contract

Will be on the shop floor a lot - Metatarsals required

Day-to-day

· Create and edit manufacturing routings

· Generate programs for laser operations

· Review manufactured part prints

· Check production inventory and forecasted inventories

· Transfer stock between departments

· Communicate with other departments about material transfers

· Communicate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability

· Update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS office tools

· Manage a queue for short stock or back order

· Employee record keeping

Requirements

· 2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Tech, Computer-Aided Drafting or related (or equivalent experience)

· Experience in a manufacturing setting

· MS Office experience

· Organized and great communication skills

· Detail Oriented

· Strong Excel skills – working with Macros, pivot tables, reports

· Experience tracking/managing warehouse inventory

· Able to work with multiple groups to determine part Due dates and delivery dates – Supply Management, Design Engineering, Operations.

· Able to adapt to changing priorities based on part availability and business needs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Supply chain: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
